I should have taken pictures of the pilgrim dinner here. We had their 11e meal which was excellent. It was a choice of mixed salad or ? Bacalao or pork chop, flan or ? And choice of wine. We had the salad bacalao and flan. Very simple but prepared very well. Their red and white house wine are also very good. Being an American (and a foodie) i am not used to this quality of simple meals. Actually, ALL the places we dined at in the Camino were excellent!

I am very pleased with the friendliness of the Spanish people we have chatted with or been served by. Very hospitable. The country so far has been immaculently clean, everywhere.

We arrived early and they opened the kitchen for us. My partner fancied a salad (not on the menu) after tapas, the chef went to get extra ingredients. Other people then ordered the same when they saw it. I had entrecote off the menu del dia, perfect rare to medium. Local house wine, bread etc all under 30. Everyone went out of their way for us to enjoy a lovely meal. Much appreciated after a long day on the Camino

A bunch of us pilgrims had the menu del dia for 15e, which includes wine and dessert. Great value and great service from the staff. Opens at pilgrim friendly hours for dinner.
